Biography

Lindsay Jamison is a visual artist, yoga/reiki practitioner, mindfulness instructor and retreat facilitator. Based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, she loves traveling, dancing and being immersed in the natural world. Her mission is to make mindfulness practices accessible to heal, inspire, empower and educate our community at large. Lindsay is passionate about combining mandala-making, mixed media art, movement and mindfulness practices to develop innovative educational programs to serve the community. Currently, she is the Co-founder of ArtiZen Sisters; is co-facilitating a retreat to Peru; and is offering transformative life skills to the community. Lindsay is also on the Council of the Emakume Gathering; a gathering for women to express the divine feminine within while fostering awareness and relationships between women from all walks of life.


Lindsay specializes in hatha or mindful movement yoga, restorative and chair yoga as well as mindfulness meditation and Reiki. Her aim is to meet each student where they are to provide a platform of self discovery through various processes for positive transformation. Her continuing education includes: Yoga for Cancer & Chronic Illness; Off the Mat, Into the World: Yoga, Purpose & Action Intensive; 8 week MBSR at UPenn; Usui Reiki Ryoho and Usui Shiki Ryoho, as well as 400 hours of Inner Fire Yoga training at Yoga on Main in Manayunk. She is passionate about sharing tools for living a balanced lifestyle full of awareness, equanimity and positivity.  Lindsay also focuses on helping people to clear mental, physical and spiritual blocks.


She graduated from the University of the Arts in 2009 with a BFA in Sculpture and a strong focus in glassblowing. Lindsay had the pleasure of studying glass at various schools across the country including Pilchuck, Penland School of Crafts and Pittsburgh glass school. In 2013, Lindsay left the world of glass-blowing to embark on her true path of healing and transformation. Currently, her focus is exploring how mandalas and art are a form of meditation that can be accessed by anyone. Lindsay believes by combining mindfulness practices with creativity, healing can occur on deep levels, opening one up to live their own life’s purpose.
